Sales Contributions of the Seafood Industry in Mississippi, Gulf of Mexico and United States

The economic contributions of the seafood industry include economic activities generated from commercial fishing, seafood processing, seafood wholesaling, seafood importing, seafood and fish markets and seafood restaurants. Output or sales are the gross sales by businesses within the economic region affected by an activity. The total economic contribution is the sum of direct, indirect and induced effects.
